Welcome to Evolution Equine Academy International, where a passion for horses meets excellence in education and business. Founded by John Forsyth and his daughter Tori Forsyth, the academy has its roots in 1996 when John and his wife Roz began their journey with a diverse range of training programs through a Registered Training Organisation. With over 30 years of experience in the education sector, John’s commitment to quality training has allowed his business to grow and evolve. The training institute went on to offer a wide array of courses, including RSA, RCG, Aged Care, Child Care, and various safety disciplines.
In 2011, driven by John and Roz’s love for horses, he introduced a Horsemanship course to the company’s scope. This passion project has blossomed over a decade, culminating in the prestigious Accredited courses. The company’s commitment to nurturing both people and horses has always been at the centre of the mission.
John Forsyth, alongside his wife Roz, has a rich history in the equine industry. He ran the renowned Quarter Horse breeding company, VM Quarter Horses, specialising in importing and exporting top-quality Quarter Horses from America. This established legendary bloodlines in Australia, significantly contributing to the Australian equine community.
In 2021, Tori Forsyth joined the team of the long-running registered training organisation, bringing fresh energy and a new vision. Tori grew up on a property surrounded by horses, fostering a lifelong passion for equine care and horsemanship. Her childhood experiences of riding and working with horses instilled a deep connection to the equine world. She is also a qualified professional with a Certificate III in Horse Care and has been managing the equine branch of John’s RTO.
In addition to her equine expertise, Tori is a successful country musician with over a decade of experience in the creative industries. She has released four acclaimed records, earned seven Golden Guitar nominations, been nominated for an ARIA award, and won a QMA award. Her ability to combine her creative talents with her practical knowledge of horse care makes her a unique and dynamic force within Evolution Equine Academy International.
Together, this dynamic father-daughter duo revitalised the company, making the courses more engaging and accessible to students across various states in Australia. With their combined expertise in equine care, business, and education, and their shared enthusiasm for the equine industry, they were ready for a new venture. This led to the creation of a new and exciting project: Evolution Equine Academy International.
Evolution Equine Academy International moves beyond traditional Registered Training. This initiative aims to provide accredited-level education to a wider, more diverse international audience. The academy focuses not only on learning but also on fostering a community of equine enthusiasts. The goal is to support individuals who want to start their own businesses in the equine sector, equipping them with essential business knowledge and expertise to excel as professionals in their field.
